Nothing looks abnormal to me. Have you ever tried messing with Ryzen Master or CPU tunning on the BIOS? I'm not saying that you shouldn't use (I use it on a daily basis), but we just need to know. These were taken after 20 mins on GTAV:
The stock cooler on the 3600 is excellent and keeps temps very much under control. The OP shouldn't be having any issues with that hardware configuration in relation to temps....I run the 3600 on a stock cooler and a 2060 Super....even when I had the GPU pretty much maxed out for hours on end, I had no thermal issues on either CPU or GPU
When first released the 3600 received rave reviews with the stock cooler. Of course there are better options and doing intensive and constant CPU runs would warrant an upgrade. For gaming though the stock cooler is more than fine.
If there are temperature issues noted then it would be a good avenue to look at, but anything maxing out around 80 would be fine.
Strange as I find the cooler to be really good...admittedly, it is not as quiet as everybody says it is but maybe that's just mine. Although I will admit it is sometimes difficult to tell how good given the tempoerature sensors in the AMD chips are pretty atrocious and don't give a true reading
Thank you guys so much. So shall I just arrange for it to be sent in do you think?
