hey have a question...
4 days ago mt graphic was running on idle (32c) and heavy load gaming (65c)
now the temps are not stable. i get 40-50c on idle and 80c on gaming - same game btw.
Any suggestions what happened ?
i just used Furmark to test my graphic nothing else. I didnt overclock or anything like that.

Check the fan is still working OK and blow off the dust on the fan/heatsink if any has built up.

Did you do that before or after the temps changed? The heatsink may be slightly dislodged - it needs to sit tightly over the GPU.

It's not critical, but if it's running hotter than what you've previously experienced, the can only be a few reasons:

1. It's not being cooled properly.
2. You're running it harder.
3. Your previous recordings are incorrect.

well with haf 932 case i guess its cool enough.
2. running harder? u mean change game settings to high ?
3. im not sure about this cause i was playing 2-3 hours without hearing a thing from my graphic card. the last 2 days is getting hotter than ever.

Hmm, my GTX460 runs at 55 idle, going up to 70 sometimes when playing WoW, although my room is fairly warm most the time.
