Hard drive noise

I've noticed when my new pc is installing a Windows update the hard drive makes a strange buzzing type noise, if i'm installing any other files or copying files to the hard drive its quiet as a mouse. is this normal? BTW my hard disk is a 1TB WD Caviar green WD10EARS SATA 3 GB 64MB Cache

It is probably due to it spinning up to full rpm, i woudlnt worry about it too much. If there is any sign of delay or instability then keep an eye on it.
