SO ...

I think i may need help from the best of the best ...
(i'm allowing myself to "call" you, please excuse me if it's not right ^^")
@SpyderTracks @Bhuna50

My friend have problems with
-Sound : it's okay when he play song from vlc, but when he run some video on internet, he have a low level sound (almost inaudible)
-CPU/GPU heat : When idle, the CPU run at 56°C and the GPU run at 50°C
-Screen color : look like, in game, all the colors are dull ...

The point is i live at 90km away, so if i have to go back, i would like to do it with a solution ^^"
(and he don't know a thing about laptop, so, if something have to be done, i will have to do it myself ... ^^")

So, i'm currently help him out via teamviewer, but it's a "limited" solution ... ^^"

- has he ensured that all drivers are installed / updated.
- sound wise - does he mean on the 'naff' speakers on the laptop or through headphones?
- has he ensured that any headphone software required is installed properly (USB headsets sometimes have their own software)
- has he checked volume controllers - not just Windows, but on headphones (if using any), and even on the video itself.
- not sure on the temps, my CPU runs between 45 and 55 when not doing a lot, so this might be normal.
- has he ensured the control centre software is there and working?
- what is he using to monitor his temperatures? HWMonitor or something else?

Answer bellow
So, i did all this with Teamviewer, but it should be okay (no ?)

- has he ensured that all drivers are installed / updated.
Yes, i did it

- sound wise - does he mean on the 'naff' speakers on the laptop or through headphones?
I suppose by "naff",you mean the "native" one ? so Yes, the problem was with the native speaker

- has he ensured that any headphone software required is installed properly (USB headsets sometimes have their own software)
- has he checked volume controllers - not just Windows, but on headphones (if using any), and even on the video itself.
As my precedent answer, it's irrelevant (i guess ?)

- not sure on the temps, my CPU runs between 45 and 55 when not doing a lot, so this might be normal.
Well, it's particularly hot in game, otherwise, it look like it was okay

- has he ensured the control centre software is there and working?
Yep, it was

- what is he using to monitor his temperatures?
HWMonitor (and the control center showed the same temperatures ...)

I even did a clean instal for the gpu and the soud driver with ddu (i tried to find solutions on the forum before asking for help ^^" )
