Help with New Build

I have a budget or around 700-750 pounds excluding monitor.

My question is which processor should I get?
I am most likely going to get a Radeon 7870 as I will be using it mainly for gaming but which processor should I get? I probably cannot stretch to the cheapest 3rd Gen i5, so it worthwhile getting an i3 or a AMD?

If AMD is there much, and more importantly, value-for-money difference between the 3.6 or 4.2Ghz. Also, if i have the money should I get a 6 core?

Also, what is the Coolermaster Elite 3100 Case any good?

I apologise for all the questions but I had lots of queries i had to get off my chest.

I'd suggest getting an intel spec for your budget, the spec below has an i5 + hd 7870 and it will perform better than the fx-4170 or a 6 core amd cpu.

For gaming with your budget I would go for the 4170 AMD processor it will be fine for the vast majority of games apart from one or two CPU intensive games which it will still handle on lower settings,this build also has a larger hard drive and a wireless card,the stock cooler should be fine but you can upgrade that if you want,It also has a better motherboard providing SATA 6.0Gb/s
