Homeplugs

If i were to buy homeplugs, would they be better than WiFi? also, do i need a pair or just one, and will i need a Ethernet cable to run from my pc into the homeplug?

Might be worth considering homeplugs as an alternative to wireless,they provide a better and more reliable connection than wireless.You will need two homeplugs,ethernet cables are usually provided with the homeplugs.
Homeplugs are basically a wired ethernet connection through your domestic wiring,plug one homeplug in to a wall socket next to your router then connect an ethernet cable from the homeplug to your router,plug the other homeplug to a wall socket next to your PC & connect an ethernet cable from that to your PC.
