How to reset the computer

Before anyone says it, I don't mean the reset button on the computer

I am wondering how to literally reset everything in the computer as if it left the factory from day one, is it a case of formatting both hard drives and that will be done or is there a way to do it and a way not to do it?

I would suggest doing a clean install mate,

- backup all your important stuff on external drives or whereever.
- reinstall the OS. BUt when you choose your drive, format all the others at the same time.

With a PCS computer,only way to do this is with a clean install of the operating system,delete the partitions while doing so,but make sure you back up anything you want first of course.
