99% of people have no problems but you dont hear all of them, and if there is a problem PCS will sort it out

Hi GS540.

What you have to bear in mind is that only a small minority of people that receive their machines actually use the forums at all. Out of this minority, it is a small percentage again that have problems/report issues.

This is the same wherever you go, whatever you buy, but especially when it comes to the complex nature of things like PCs/Laptops.

The thing that you really should be paying attention to when reading reviews and reports of issues, is the way in which a company deals with said issues.

All I have seen of PCS (not through personal experience) is a swift, polite and efficient after sales service that puts many companies to shame. Of course there will be the exceptions that prove the rule, but this is not a perfect world that we live in.

£2400 is a lot for your first custom PC, especially when still so young, but if you can learn just one thing from these boards, its that SHOULD anything go wrong, be it upon arrival, in the first month, or even out of warranty, PCS will help you every step of the way to getting it fixed/the problem rectified (can be a simple phone call to support to give you an obvious yet overlooked solution).

I am sure plenty of people will follow this with similar comments which hopefully will ease your mind a bit.

well i can understand the way your feeling, tbh some of my posts recently may not of helped, but even though im having some problems like everyone has said the vast majority of orders must go through fine and tbh my problems are mostly down to sales staff not knowing enough about the components theyre telling me about so i wouldnt worry about the machine itself ive only ever heard good things about the machines themselves and the PCS testing and QC stages are apparently very rigorous, either way the collect and return service seems to be one of the best out there and if you get the £5 warranty then your covered for everything for a year
