i7 950 and 1600MHz Ram?

I have a PC being 'built' with following specs: Would the ram by default run at 1066? Or would pcspecialist tweak it to run at 1333?

The kingston ram is x.m.p (intel xtreme memory profile). xmp should be turned on in the bios so the ram will run at 1600mhz.

But is it that simple, I thought i7 950 only supports 1066MHz?
I read you'd have to reduce the core clock speed, otherwise it would be overclocked?

Not that there was a hugh price difference lol.

Same goes for the SATA 6 Gb/s HD - bit pointless.

You would have been better getting the 1333mhz RAM if you're not overclocking the CPU but as you said there's not a big price difference so I guess it doesn't matter too much.
