Installing windows from external DVD reader

Hi,

I want to get the Enigma 3 laptop with no DVD player since I own an external player. I also have Windows 7 DVD.

Can I install it using the external DVD player? Will the BIOS detect the external player and boot from the DVD?

You should be able to do so by setting the bios option to boot from the drive.,
