Guys I want to know if my aio cooler (COOLERMASTER - MASTER LIQUID LITE 240) can fit on top of my case instead of the front which is what people normally go for, so will this be to small for radiator to be placed on top? asking this as its a very big case.

I have looked at my specs of my case it says it does allow the radiator 240mm on the top but I think it might be to small,I don’t realy how to do these things but want to try it as I got this recently.

Hi there, yes the Cooler Master AIO can fit on the top of that case, there will be screw holes in the top for it to be mounted. Although that cooler won't be needed for the CPU you have and the stock one would be perfectly adequate.

To be honest, this build seems very unbalanced and there's a lot I'd change. If you're able to give us your budget, monitor info (make and model or resolution AND refresh rate) and what you'll be using the PC for, we can try and come up with a more balanced build for you.

Also if you're able to include the link so we can make changes that would be great. How to do this can be found here

Sorry forgot to mention this is my build that I bought from pc specialist last year June I have switched to a 1440p monitor with 165hz and the stock cooler is making a weird noise like some grinding noise and it would rise in temps so quickly even after I applied new paste.
so I got myself an aio cooler from the upgrade because I will be doing more intensive gaming and cpu bound task, what I had during last year and was an 1080p 75hz monitor which then I had an 1650 super for that.

but now I’ve got my new 1440p monitor which is why I got this card.

Okay this makes more sense. The AIO could be seen as bit overkill for a 3600, but it would cover you for an upgrade if you were to change to a higher performance CPU

Now you own the build there's not much point in suggesting changes, especially if you've owned it for a while. I think the main stand out point for me was that the Motherboard is very overspecced for the CPU you have. The TUF B550 would've been perfectly adequate. With that board you could've gone for a higher performing CPU and a larger SSD for example. That said if you plan to upgrade the CPU, it would be a good fit for a Ryzen 7 CPU

In terms of what I'd suggest to change as of now, it really depends on your needs. If your thermals are poor, then I'd recommend a new AIO, if you've run out of space then I'd recommend a new SSD or HDD, if your CPU is struggling at high % loads with what you're doing, I'd recommend a new CPU. It's really case by case dependant. I guess a larger SSD and a new CPU is what I'd suggest, but again, it really depends on why you're upgrading and what you're wanting to do.

thanks for the advice during that time I’m not sure but the b550 wasn’t out then but I wanted to get this board because I know that I’m gonna upgrade on my cpu this year or next year as these new cpu came out, I am looking to get more space and upgrade my storage as soon I have found need for them right now I’m fine what I have.
Since u mentioned the Ryzen 7 I might get this either this year or next.

Thank for your time you answered my question about the case and I begin installing the cpu cooler soon.

No worries, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. When you decide to upgrade your CPU, I'd recommend coming back and asking for advice, we'll be able to get the correct CPU for your uses!
