What software?

If gaming, what monitor are you gaming on? A 1080p 60hz monitor TV?

You should be looking at a 1440p 144hz monitor (with Freesync) with an RX 5700 XT. That kind of GPU is wasted on 1080p. They start at around £250, so easily affordable. PCS sell some but ofc you can buy from anywhere

Case with far better airflow to help cool things inside, especially the GPU
Faster RAM as it's inexpensive and Ryzen CPUs can benefit a lot, as can specific games
3800x is not remotely worth the extra price. Maybe if it was just a tenner more. No point to it over the 3700x as performance gains as minuscule.
M.2 SSD as it's about the same price but faster
AX200 wifi card has a lot more features for little more cash, including the option of the 5GHz band. if you don't need wifi, drop the card altogether.
TXm series CPU as it's more efficient, better quality, quieter, and modular.

Someone told me that the ryzen 3rd gen need a different BIOS to work with the motherboard they are saying the b450 plus is not compatible

They're wrong. :)

A B450 motherboard is completely compatible with 3rd Gen Ryzen and PCS will test the system before shipping it to you.

What this person is probably thinking of is that when Ryzen 3rd Gen first launched, you needed a BIOS update to get the two to work. That would be a concern if you were buying a motherboard, and a CPU, and assembling the two yourself. The board might have been on a warehouse shelf for half a year and be missing the update for Ryzen 3rd Gen.

But with a pre-built PC like one sold by PCS (or any other reputable company for that matter) it'll work out of the box because they'll have the appropriate BIOS already in place for you.
