We love you Ukraine

i was wondering if these parts are compatible and if there was any other parts I could replace to make my build any better.
my budget is 1.4k at max and i want it to be optimised for fortnite so I can get 240 miminum fps.
For my monitor im going to use the aoc gaming 27 inch monitor at 240hz. (https://www.amazon.co.uk/AOC-Gaming-25G3ZM-MOnitor-FreeSync/dp/B0BGCG4NJM)
These forums are only for pcspecialist systems I’m afraid, we can’t comment on self builds or competitor systems, you may want an open forum like toms hardware

I'm afraid these forums are only for support on PCSpecialist systems. Windows 10 isn't sold by PCS, it was taken off sale worldwide at the beginning of 2023

im talking about a pc specalist system....?

The initial link was PCPart picker though.

If you want a PCSpecialist build then we can help. Am I right in thinking:

£1.4k Budget
1080p gaming, 240hz..... what's the relevance of the 240hz for you? Just making you aware that most people won't see anything over the 120hz mark and anything past that is typically marketing mojo. There are elite gamers that will get the benefit, but it's comparing a learner driver to an F1 driver for the most part.
Uses are just for gaming?

Is this for a desktop or a laptop.

If it's for a desktop, then you can get all the drivers from Windows Update or the device manufacturer directly.

If it's for a laptop, then there may be some drivers that are only available from your PCS account.

You can install whatever OS you like (even Win 7 if you want), but PCS are just warning you that they won't be offer support if you have any problems from installing a now unsupported operating system.

It will be fine...if not recommended.

Just remember that you'll have to do a clean install (i.e. remove all partitions and start from scratch) as the test system on there will not be a full build (and W11 anyway).
