Is this spec ok? Thanks

Plan to get a MSI RTX3700 elsewhere, but want to get other parts here, is this spec ok for cooling?
For GPU, should I select Integrated GPU or I have a GPU already? :) Not sure how the engineers will test it...

Many thanks!

Hi there,
At the moment AMD is the better choice over Intel, most people on the forums wouldn't recommend going for an Intel build at present.
What is your budget?
What are you going to be using your PC for? Gaming, editing, rendering, design etc.
What monitor do you have at the moment? To make use of a 3070 you'll need something around the spec of a 1440p ultrawide.

Many thanks, the Intel VS AMD one is a good thread, I really didn't know about this.
Budget should be below 2000 Euro without GPU
I chose Intel cards cause I always using them, and they are cooler compare to AMD(My last PC was Pentium 3 back in 2001, then switched to Mac since)
As for usage, plan to get it run some Blender rendering and play some game like Cyberpunk 2077(Main gaming system is PS4/5)
Monitors are 2 27" IPS ones on 1080p, not interested to get 4K or any thing.
Actually want to get 3080, but given the madness we have, 3070 are easier to find.

A quick one please, if I want to order some thing in stock now, will Ryzen 7 3800X good enough? Don't think I will need 12 cores. Many Thanks

You would be looking at a significant performance decrease. Zen 3 CPUs have made a massive performance increase over the 3000 series of CPUs. If you wanted to downgrade slightly, the 5800x might be a better option. I know it also says it's pre-order but it's far less in demand compared to the 5900x so I would say that it's worth the wait. If you went for the 5800x you should also downgrade the motherboard to the TUF X-570.

Thanks so much, I will just order the part you recommended then. Waiting is a virtue :D

If you're using Blender, go for an NVidia RTX 3 series card if possible - NVidia contribute to Blender development and integration has got better, for example the Optix denoising feature.
