That's not right,dual Link DVI-D (digital only) cables are normally used when higher resolutions are required (1920 x 1200 or above).DVI-I means integrated and combines digital and analog in the same connector.Please read the article I linked you to in my first post.this will explain things a lot easier,and I'm getting tired now.:yawn:http://www.playtool.com/pages/dvicompat/sldldvi.jpg
I think its the DVI-I dual Links that give the Higher Resolutions for 27inch 30inch Mons. That flat long bit on the side is longer than on a DVI-D Dual Link. The 4 Pins are for analogue which is what you was talking about. But i do think You need DVI-I DL For larger monitors and stuff. #I may be wrong lol
