Thanks again for the help everyone, especially Spyder.
I must say he was a big contributor to why I purchased from PCS.
(Not just the direct help to me, but he is helping out in almost every single thread. I don't know if he gets any type of discount or support from you guys but he really should).
Anyway,
I have a few questions now which hopefully won't be massive fixes.
(If you feel this is better as a new thread I'm happy to. I just think the previous comments give it context).
1 - When I made my purchase, I am sure there was a promo on to get the game monster hunter for free with the i7 chip.
(It was in coloured text beside the specs of the cpu).
Upon looking it up I no longer see anythnig about it on PCS, however its still on Intels website.

Apparently I need the master key or something, can anyone help with this?
2- I booted up the PC and everything is good, installed the OS etc.
However when I swap my ram from the preinstalled Corsair Vengance to the Patriot Blackout I have been running into issues.
Right now I am just looking for a general answer and ill get all the specifics up asap.
But essentially here is the described problem,
Whenever I boot the computer with the PVB ram, (Either single stick, or two correctly positioned for dual channel mode).
It takes 20/30 secs then there is an audible bios beep, it then takes me to a AMIBIOS Screen stating it looked in safe mode due to an error press F1 to continue.
After pressing F1 I am taken to the bios settings, I can save and exit and the computer boots as normal.
However what I did notice, is the bios still seemed set with the old ram in mind. (Lower voltage and lower frequency).
I have limited experience with these things so I won't pretend I understood half of it.
I tried changing the freq manually and setting to the voltage with the ram.
I'm just not convinced its done right. As I still get the single beep every boot. Even though all runs fine once I'm in windows.
Now, my handbook says one beep can mean one of 3 things. None of which seemed to be any problems. (VGA Detected etc).
But when searching online, apparently one beep means DRAM refresh failure

My experience with ram before now was very plug and play. Am I just missing something obvious that I should be doing to ensure my new ram works fine?
It is worth mentioning, I told the bios to return to default settings (mostly auto timings as opposed to set ram timings etc).
Doing this then allows my computer to go straight to the OS (After the delay and beep).
Ill need to check incase the default has disabled the "Press F1 on error POST" setting.
Again, general answers would be appreciated at the moment.
