So the liquid shouldn't really be in a machine for much more than 3 years, personally I drain my system and clean it out every 6 months but I've been doing this for years and actually quite enjoy it and at this point I think I could do it blindfolded.
It is possible to get it sent back in for maintenance but I do not know how much it will cost. Currently discussing it at work and I believe a care plan for it will be available soon.
So you're probably looking at 3-5 days but maybe longer depending on what you want done. So if it was just clean out the loop and replace the liquid then it could be done in 2-3 days with a leak test and then us testing the system to make sure there are no faults that might have cropped up. If you want to say change GPU to the latest that was out at the time then it would require a longer testing period where we'd fully stress the GPU (or any components that you want upgraded/added) to make sure that it is in working order.
I believe that it's actually against our terms and conditions that you try this yourself and in doing so you void your warranty. It's to stop any potential disasters happening that aren't under our supervision, if we were to damage anything whilst the maintenance was going on then we can cover the cost however if it happened at your home then we cannot cover this.
