Liquid Series: What would you like to see?

So the liquid shouldn't really be in a machine for much more than 3 years, personally I drain my system and clean it out every 6 months but I've been doing this for years and actually quite enjoy it and at this point I think I could do it blindfolded.

It is possible to get it sent back in for maintenance but I do not know how much it will cost. Currently discussing it at work and I believe a care plan for it will be available soon.

So you're probably looking at 3-5 days but maybe longer depending on what you want done. So if it was just clean out the loop and replace the liquid then it could be done in 2-3 days with a leak test and then us testing the system to make sure there are no faults that might have cropped up. If you want to say change GPU to the latest that was out at the time then it would require a longer testing period where we'd fully stress the GPU (or any components that you want upgraded/added) to make sure that it is in working order.

I believe that it's actually against our terms and conditions that you try this yourself and in doing so you void your warranty. It's to stop any potential disasters happening that aren't under our supervision, if we were to damage anything whilst the maintenance was going on then we can cover the cost however if it happened at your home then we cannot cover this.

That's the first time I've heard anything like this here!

Not meaning to question an admin... but I feel I must ask - can this be confirmed?

I.E. if you get a liquid series PC you effectively cannot upgrade any components/etc. yourself - or confirm what the limitations of the warranty are in reference to liquid series PC's

This isn't really clear on the website at the moment (the Ts & Cs don't seem to suggest this... - 7.7 still suggests that you can upgrade without voiding the warranty as long as the new components don't damage the system).

I'll confirm this with my boss when he arrives into work today and get back to you. I'm not completely clear on the Terms and Conditions as it's another department that deals with this.

That would be good upgrading you GPU every 2 years when you send your PC for maintenance. Also like the idea of the care plan for the liquid PC.

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you on this. I've just spoken to my boss now and he's said that so long as no damage occurs during any maintenance that is done then it will still be covered under warranty however if you wish to change liquid from Mayhem then please contact us as there are some that aren't great in certain radiators and can corrode the metal causing problems and potential damage.

If you stick with Mayhems then it will be fine.

I have finally order the Liquid Cooled pc from yourself. I have sent an email to ask if I will get the HD Bridge for the 1 pascals GPU's. Also have you got any feedback on the care plan?

Oh yeah? What system was it? Got a few to build at the minute so it might be a few days before I get to it as it's really just me who does the lot.
We don't usually send them out with only one GPU but I can inquire on Monday for you. Currently I don't other than it is on its way soon but looking like it won't be until the new year at the earliest. All information will be available as soon as we have it locked down, you will be able to opt in even after your PC has been delivered.
