32gb is overkill for gaming, 8gb memory ram is plenty. If you are gaming in 1 monitor the gtx 680 2gb version will be better.

Much appreciated, a thing that I forgot to mention is I am a graphic student so I do a lot of video editing and work with Adobe programs.
In the future I might want to use 2 monitors so is there a different graphics card you would suggests to handle 2 monitors.

what keynes said :)

also, instead of the 500gb and 1tb standard drive, go for one 120gb ssd for the OS then a 1 or 2tb caviar black for games etc etc.

dont forget the extra warranty for a fiver....

As this is the first PC that I am specing this is real good of you guys to give me this advice.

I am looking at the prices between the 2GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX680 and the 4GB version and there is only a £50 difference. Is that something that I should take into consideration or not?

Also what is your take on liquid cooling and the fans?

I think what you have chosen is overkill, following spec would be excellent for gaming, and should also be very good for video editing.

Case
CORSAIR GRAPHITE SERIES™ 600T WHITE MID-TOWER CASE
Processor (CPU)
Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Processor i7-3770 (3.4GHz) 8MB Cache
Motherboard
ASUS® P8Z77-V: PCI-E 3.0 READY, WIFI, SLI, CROSSFIREX
Memory (RAM)
16GB KINGSTON HYPER-X GENESIS DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz, X.M.P (4 x 4GB KIT) 8gb is more than enough for gaming, but as you are video editing. If you want more than 16gb you need to upgrade windows to pro
Graphics Card
2GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 670 - 2 DVI, HDMI, DP - 3D Vision Ready I have one and it's very good for the money, although if you are set on a 680 then the 2gb should be fine
Memory - 1st Hard Disk
120GB KINGSTON HYPERX 3K SSD, SATA 6 Gb/s (upto 555MB/sR | 510MB/sW)
2nd Hard Disk
2TB WD CAVIAR BLACK WD2002FAEX, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64MB CACHE (7200rpm) better than standard
1st DVD/BLU-RAY Drive
24x DUAL LAYER DVD WRITER ±R/±RW/RAM
Power Supply
CORSAIR 750W ENTHUSIAST SERIES™ TX750 V2-80 PLUS® BRONZE (£86) enough room to add another graphics card in future (sli)
Processor Cooling
Super Quiet 22dBA Triple Copper Heatpipe Intel CPU Cooler (£19) fine for gaming, especially as you are not overclocking
Sound Card
ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)
Network Facilities
10/100/1000 GIGABIT LAN PORT - AS STANDARD ON ALL PCs
USB Options
6 x USB 2.0 PORTS @ BACK PANEL (MIN 2 FRONT PORTS) AS STANDARD
Operating System
Genuine Windows 8 Standard Edition 64 Bit - inc DVD & Licence (£79) actually I would probably get w7
Office Software
FREE 30 Day Trial of Microsoft® Office® 365
Anti-Virus
BULLGUARD INTERNET SECURITY - FREE 90 DAY TRIAL
Warranty
3 Year Silver Warranty (1 Year Collect & Return, 1 Year Parts, 3 Year Labour) (£5) don't forget this

Many thanks to all of you guys for helping me out, not only do you guys know more about PC building than I do but you have saved me money in a build that is actually more suited for my needs, so thank you again.

This is the final version with your suggestions taking into consideration.

I would drop the ram to 1600mhz - you won't notice the difference as you are not overclocking.
Apart from that it looks good to me.

The i7-3770 should offer better performance with video editing and adobe than the i7-3820

+1 Probably much cheaper too!

I'd probs whack in a k version and a decent cpu cooler and get ya self a medium overclock to help with the editing.
