Its far easier for folk to view if you can copy/paste your specs (and include the configurable link) rather than a snip... if its easier you'll get more responses.

How much did the system come too in total?

I would cancel that order to be honest. It's not ideal IMO.

The 5600X is a decent chip but it's outshone by the Intel offerings. The 12600k is significantly more powerful and there's not a lot in it cost wise. Other areas that are lacking - Storage (M2 is old generation & too small, no fast storage for game loads), PSU (not high enough IMO and no upgrade potential), cooling (smaller liquid coolers are a waste, unknown quality too) and Poor Wifi (No 5Ghz band, not a good choice).

The 3060Ti is a 1440p high FPS GPU, it's definitely not mid-level gaming so if you wanted to get inside the budget the GPU is the first place I would look. It depends on which monitor you are pairing the system with.

Do you need Windows Pro? What about the platinum warranty? £135 is an awful lot of the budget.

Below is what I would start with. If you want to get inside budget I would definitely look at the GPU as being the only point to lower.

Hmm okay, this looks more sensible then. Thank you!

If I were to take the GPU down acouple of notches, what would be a reasonable choice? Basically I'd like to run whatever game I want but medium. Graphics is fine. I usually find myself playing indies, mmo, strategy, crafting survival etc on PC.

My initial gut instinct is the 2060. It really depends on what monitor you are looking to run as the potential of the GPU is down to the resolution and refresh rate that's being targeted.

If it's 1080p the 2060 is a no brainer, if it's 1440p then there's an argument that the 3060 is a better fit (the 3060Ti is pretty high end 1440p and not medium). If it's 4k then there's just no chance you're going to get good returns at this budget.

Hmm, yeah I see what your saying. Even looking at those other options the money saving isn't huge. Seems like I get most bang for buck with 3060ti?

Will you be running 1440p? It all depends on the monitor

For a decent 1440p monitor you'd be looking at £300-500

When is eventually? If it's not within a year then there's no point in getting a 3069ti now, just get a 2060 and upgrade it when you upgrade the monitor.
That's a good point. Just resell the 2060? Also should I get the 6gb or 12gb...? Thank you for your help.

This is where I'd go mate, that PSU is designed for office computers and not gaming machines. You also want plenty of overhead so you can make upgrades in future

The 2060 isn't all that big so definitely doesn't need a support bracket

Also just FYI you can get the exact same monitor elsewhere for significantly cheaper

I would strongly advise against the PSU you have selected. The absolute minimum recommendation nowadays would be a 750w RMx. Most of the time I would favour a 1000w RMx where the budget allows but the 850w is my go-to when on a limit.

Amazing. Thanks so much guys. I upgraded to the 1000 RMx power supply, and will source the monitor for else where. Ordered and rather excited for it to arrive :)
