Hi ppl,Pc now 2 years old ...all ok...got 2 hard drives 1 with xp,the 2nd with windows 7,was reinstalling windows 7 but i installed over
the xp drive:oops:,now i can't reinstall xp because windows won't let me (older operating system) any help plss.(no problem with system
i usually reinstall every 12-15 months for a total clean up.....messed up big time..omg [rollinglaugh]).. thnx in advance

You might have to format the hard drive entirely to install xp on it again.

Any reason why you specifically want XP on one drive and 7 on another? I didn't think there were too many compatibility issues between the two OS's now?

You need to install the older OS first,to do so you will first need to format the drive you have windows 7 installed on (As steaky said),you can do this with your windows 7 disc,various other methods shown here,

After doing this,Install XP on one drive. When finished, install Win7 on the other drive.
