Metro 2033 Benchmark results

Laptop running Metro 2033

Surprised to see I'm close to a 680 GTX in SLI, so thought I'd post.

2033 benchmark - all maxed out @ 1080.

Avg 67.73 fps
Max 226 fps
Min 12.93 fps

Alienware m18x r2. 3920XM (turbo to 4.4GHz), 4GB Hyper X, ssd raid 0, dual 7970M crossfire (not overclocked).

EDIT: after re-checking the others, I should add that this result was without the 'DOF' checkbox enabled.

Edit: Managed Average of 120.3 FPS with highest settings.

Your "Min. Framerate" is still higher than mine .

Cheers Narcotics, I have ran the benches from sleeping dogs and arkham city/asylum already. Didnt see the one in crysis but I'll have a look tomorrow for that one . Don't own dirt 3 or avp so can't try those lol.

I am curious if the new nvidia drivers will push up your fps/game benchmarks with your quad-sli set up

I'll re run the benches when I get back home (at parents currently after a week in the sun ). See if I get any improvement

all benchmark settings maxed out (PhysX enabled too):

Total Frames: 1017, Total Time: 58.60378 sec
Average Framerate: 17.46
Max. Framerate: 52.41 (Frame: 997)
Min. Framerate: 5.61 (Frame: 6)

Poor results, however for me game itself is very playable in very high settings (with PhysX disabled and antialiasing lowered), no frame drops and it still looks awesome.

Just out of curiosity has anyone tried this again with Windows 8 and got different results? I'll try mine tonight an post up.

Is that worse? Either way its +60FPS so doesn't matter.

Smoke put me on to the benches, so i thought I'd see what my laptop could manage.

In DX11, Very High, absolutely everything on (including PhysX), 1920x1080:

Average frame rate : 18.67
Max : 46.07
Min : 6.53

Taking AF down to 4X and Depth of Field off:

Average : 27.50
Max : 101.18
Min : 7.43

Then taking Anti Alaising down to AAA as well :

Average : 37.33
Max : 233.64
Min : 9.10

I think this is where I'll keep my settings...a beast of a game, in every sense....

Double figures average (just) so pleasantly surprised. Great laptop.

lol Just looking at the min frame rates - when the game gets intense it must drop your frames a ton rofl - I will have to benchmark this game on my new system when I purchase it.

I noticed it was the first few frames during the benchmark that dropped significantly giving you the 'minimum' scores. Although I would guess if the action picks up massively it will still cause drops
