Hi all,

What's your thoughts on the below spec? Budget around max £1300. Intended use is couch gaming, therefore as quiet as possible without scrimping on graphics and performance.

Heat is always an issue with mini pc's. Try and get a better cpu cooler and at least silver warranty. If you're gaming on a 1080p tv you could probably save cash and just get the normal gtx780.

Same as above, especially if you are using your TV the GTX 780 ti would be overkill.

No problem, thanks guys. What about a case that's suitable for the living room and can sit within a TV cabinet? Do they exist? I know Alienware do a couple (x51/ Alpha) but they're obviously specific to them. Is there one that can be bought separately through PCS? And if not PCS, somewhere else?

As I'm new to the PC gaming idea I wasn't aware of the size of the cases. Even the Bitfenix Prodigy, which I seen in a shop the other day, was much larger than I expected, especially when used to owning a 360.

Any ideas or am I looking for that which does not exist?

Depends on how big the TV cabinet is lol

If I was going to get a mini itx build I would use a Corsair 250d. (Link). They can take a H100i cooler and a full size power supply. Hardly tiny though.

Depends on the size of the cabinet. Give us a height to work with? And can't it sit to the side of the TV?

Either way, downgrade to the 780 and get a better cooler.
