Hello everyone.
Thanks in advance for reading.
I've recently got a new PC (two or three weeks now) and it has been working great so far, but I tried to load it up today and it seems to be messing around.
I power it on, get the basic single quick beep noise as normal. And around five to ten seconds later I get four, the first one longer than the next three which are quick.
I'm just not sure what I'm dealing with as according to the internet it is either "VGA" or the Ram?
I'm thinking it might be something to do with the graphics card as I try turning on my monitor and nothing happens. Not even a "No signal detected" or anything, it just doesn't turn on at all, black screen like it's turned off. I don't even get the blue light underneath the monitor when I press the power button.
I even unplugged the monitor by both display port and power cable to check if it was my monitor causing issues but the computer still did the same beeps.
I would unplug the GPU and boot up the PC without it to check if the computer still beeps.
But the way the cables are set up I wouldn't be able to physically pull the cable out without damaging it (the cables are pretty sturdy without any wiggle room), and I don't want to mess around with the cable set up. As quite frankly when it comes to PC hardware and PC's in general I'm not very good with the tech.
The PC hasn't moved so I don't think it would be a case of anything being loose.
So I can't even see if anything loads up to see what the issue is as my monitor doesn't go on.
Does anyone have any idea what the deal is? I'm thinking the GPU but I can't be sure. I've only had the PC for two / three weeks or so and I'm not sure if I'll have to send it back for repair.
Thanks in advance for any help.
