Music production build - advice welcomed

Hi

I would be very grateful to receive any comments or suggestions on the below proposed spec for a music production PC.

My requirements/comments:

1. I am looking for something relatively quiet.
2. I intend to use the 1TB M.2 drive for the OS, the 2TB M.2 drive for VSTs and large sound libraries and the SSD for general storage.
3. The graphics card needs to support a resolution of 3440×1440. I think I have picked the cheapest graphics card offered by PC Specialist with DisplayPort which supports this resolution - probably slightly overkill!
4. Budget is around £2k.

My concerns:

1. Whether the power supply wattage is sufficient.
2. Whether the CPU cooler is sufficient.
3. Whether the Firecuda is suitable for my requirements or slightly overkill.
4. Whether to go for the ASUS TUF or ROG motherboard. I understand that the latter has two heatsinks on the board for the M.2 drives rather than one which might swing it for me as I understand these M.2 drives can get very hot.

So, to answer your questions...

The PSU would be sufficient, but for your wish of a quiet system the 750w RMx would be a better option. The cooler wouldn't be appropriate, you'd need the H115i RGB. Firecuda is a great choice for fast storage, as is the ROG Strix for the motherboard.

For music production, you'd really benefit from the newer 5900X, CPU so with that, I've optimised the spec to something 'ideal', but it does take you over budget...
