My computer is not working.

Last Thursday, I tried to boot my computer but the Windows system was not working. I restarted my computer without success. I reformatted my computer to try to fix the problem but I ended up making the situation worse since then my computer is not working. I need help fixing this. I apologize for my English mistakes.

Can you post your specs from the order page please.

Was it failing to POST ( bios splash page) or failing to boot into windows?

You said you formatted the hard drive, how did you do this?

I was having trouble booting my computer. When I turned on my computer a blue screen appears giving me options to turn off my computer or advanced options. I selected the advanced options and one of the options was to delete all my files and install Windows again. I chose this option then the computer restarted and this screen was like the one in the photo I sent.

Did you install anything new prior to this happening? Change any settings?

Can you enter the BIOS screen?

Without your specs from your order page the advice given can only be general in nature.

The only thing I downloaded recently was the Red dead Redemption 2 game just that. I can access motherboard BIOS.

As above, without your specs, it's impossible to give any advice I'm afraid.

Where did you buy it from?

Firstly, if you go into the BIOS and check the boot order, make sure the SSD is first.

Okay, thanks so much for the support. I would like to know how I can register, would I need to Activate this guarantee on the Currys website or the PC specialist?

You'll need to register it with PCS which will activate your 3 year warranty with them. Just give them a call or do it over web chat.
As just said.

We can still give advice on this issue, just saying you want to activate your warranty when you get the chance.

As Spyder said, its best to register the PC incase its more involved, they will know the full specs and will help if any hardware issues are present.

Have a look at the boot device priority in the BIOS and make sure the 512GB drive is there and above the 2TB drive in the boot priority list.

If it is rather than going through a few more options do you have access to a 16gb drive and another PC/Laptop ? If you do I would advise a clean re install to see if the issue persists. https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

I'm guessing it was a failed boot and the reinstall was not clean or finished.

This is all assuming the hardware was untouched from working fine to having an issue. Hardware could still be a fault, mainly the 512GB drive, but I think more likely a software issue.
