This is what I'd suggest in an AMD spec, it's slightly over price wise, but you're getting significant performance improvements and upgradeability down the line:

Case
CORSAIR 4000D AIRFLOW TEMPERED GLASS GAMING CASE
Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Six Core CPU (3.7GHz-4.6GHz/35MB CACHE/AM4) Far better processor all round
Motherboard
ASUS® STRIX B550-F GAMING (DDR4, USB 3.2, 6Gb/s) - ARGB Ready!
Memory (RAM)
16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 8GB)
Graphics Card
10GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 - HDMI, DP
1st M.2 SSD Drive
1TB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (2000 MB/R, 1100 MB/W)
Power Supply
CORSAIR 850W RMx SERIES™ MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET Better PSU, semi passive so fan only comes on when under extreme load, leads to quieter operation, plus better stability.
Power Cable

1 x 1 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead)
Processor Cooling
CoolerMaster MasterLiquid Lite 240 High Performance Liquid Cooler
Thermal Paste
STANDARD THERMAL PASTE FOR SUFFICIENT COOLING

If you did choose to change it to AMD, you'd need to phone PCS and ask them if they can do it over the phone, as it's a different configurator, you can't do it online without cancelling your current build and reordering.

But PCS have switched for others over the phone before so it should be possible, and that shouldn't affect your place in the 3080 queue.

What refresh is the 4K monitor thats being used?
Am I right in thinking its a TV monitor, and 60Hz refresh? In which case a 3070 would be a good choice wouldnt it? 3080 seems like wasting money.

I did post to ask why Intel still, and have been told you have already ordered it. Best, honest advice I can give, is cancel.
Not trying to be harsh, but Intel and it looks like youve focused your budget into the wrong components, saccrificing in other areas to fit a 3080 in that I dont think you actually need....

Hmm i think i'll be losing my place in the 3080 queue, i'm hard of hearing and cannot use the phones which is a bummer..

hmm don't know the refresh rate, i'll look it up but it's a smart tv, one the missus wasn't quite pleased at me getting but meh.

edit: just looked it up and it say VRR (Variable Refresh Rate)

You may be able to do it over the webchat or via email. Email will take around a week for a response. Web chat may be quicker if they answer, you may have to keep refreshing it to get a CS agent.

That's very likely one of the newer 120Hz TV's with Freesync, both Samsung and LG do them and they're extremely good for gaming.

i'll remove the wifi/bluetooth as it'll be ethernet cabling. ive never liked wifi for gaming. i know it's good for it but i trust ethernet more.

Ethernet will always give a better experience, if you can it's certainly a better option.
Indeed it will. If OP isn't capable of having direct ethernet cause of router being far away and has a mesh router, he could buy a mesh repeater with ethernet port included, in that way he can have same experience as being connected directly to the router :)

yeah. i live in a block of flats with 8 flats surrounding mine. i can generally pick up 10+ wifi routers on my phone never mind the other IOT things like my tv...

wifi is useful in house as you are unlikely fill up the bandwidth but in a block of flats....

If its 120MHz, then yeah, 3080 by all means.

I would still take the shot at getting an AMD build, it doesnt make sense to take Intel anymore. No idea when it might again.
