So..one of the things limiting me with uploading loads to yt was....upload speed, 448kbps, 45kb/s....yeah rubbish. Anyway today I tried an upload of 600mb and 900mb footage just out of interest as dlds are 6mb/s I had tiny hopes for, let's say 200kb/s upstream? Oh boy was I wrong! 900mb uploaded in 4.1 minutes...I guess theyre renting a T1 line with equal upload/download and noones using the upload :p So....many more vids will be hitting my yt soon! LDUK beware!!!

Umm i'm not following, what does this have to do with a T1 line? Explain in <someone who has just arrived at uni and it is too frickin' early> terms please :)

Only you could turn the expression fat pipes into a whole thread.

Pipes is your internet connection.

They are fat as you can fit lots of 1's and 0's down them.

The 1's and 0's tend to get stuck in thinner pipes, they get stuck in big lumps occasionally making 10's.

Fat pipes is a geek term for nice bandwidth.

Lmao ok, now we've utterly ruined my thread, but yes, fricking fat pipes, YT uploader didnt show the kb/s for some reason, probably as I didnt use the java uploader, but, 900MB in 4.1minutes is? Very fricking fast, infact faster than some downloads I did at uni :/
