Need help with new Laptop

Hi guys have a problem, my new laptop arrived today yay, everything is fine BUT the CD drive , it dosent seem to work, you can hear it trying to bring the cd up to speed but then just stops and starts again, it dose this about 10 times then just goes quite, do you have suggestions as to what it may be??

Ok bit of a development, it will play some discs such as Microsoft Office, and the driver cd from PCS but no media cd/games etc!!

If the disks you are trying work ok on another computer,ie,they are not damaged or needing cleaned,best give PCS a call,they will probably arrange a replacement optical drive.

The discs are fine, was my first though, ye will have to wait for tomorrow

are the disks you trying to use legit?

Should hope so there from PCS, But been in contact, they ran some test on it, now waiting for new drive to arrive see if I have better luck with this one

Go to shop and take 1, ^^ .
