Looks goods, very useful. one question though,
How come its only laptops? will you be rolling this out for desktops at some time in the future?

We can't offer a compare option for desktops because of the choice available - most options are based around the motherboard and you can see information on each motherboard by clicking on the information button (i) on the right hand side of the drop down menus.
