hey im looking to get a new pc for gaming what can run any game out or coming out 100% maxed with no lag but the max i can spent is £1150 and i would need monitor mouse keybored and speakers, note the case must have good cooling and filters as my pc seem to pick up alot of dust and cat hair right now,

Have a look at the below spec it's about the best you will get for that price with all your peripherals included, if you want to go for a slightly better GPU which would be the HD6970 then you would also need a 750W PSU which will take you a few £'s over your budget.

Varying on the above post, replaces the AMD Processor with an Intel Sandy bridge processor, which is much more suited to games, upgrading the Graphics card to a 6970.

Squeezes in a lower wattage PSU (with PCS's 20% allowance the setup only requires 580W, so even with the 20% you've still got a good 70W of headroom there, so nothings being strained or stretched too majorly)

this setup doesn't include a keyboard, i generally dislike the logitech ones, so maybe get something externally like a sidewinder , adding in the extra £35 for the keyboard this just about inches over your budget (by £1 or £2 judging by the quoted amazon price), but you'd be hard pressed to find anything more capable for games at that budget.

most benchmarks show GTX 570 as more powerful, the bf3 alpha showed the gtx 570 as more powerful

It depends entirely on the types of games you want to play, some games run better on the 6970, some run better on the NVidia, personally i prefer Nvidia cards, but as the 6970 is more expensive anyway, you could easily swap out for the GTX570 without affecting the viability of the spec.

the Nvidia boasts tesselation and seems to be suited to lower res (1600x1080 ish?) whilst the 6970 runs better with higher resolutions (e.g, 2500x1080) and textures thanks to its increased amount of video memory, so neither really outperforms the other.
