New laptop without Windows

Hello,

I've got a laptop in my Basket ready to buy, but as I already have a spare copy of windows7 with key I've decided not to invest another £79 on another copy from here, So with that being said when my laptop is built do they install windows to make sure everything is working as it should be then format the drive or do they leave it on and all I have to do is activate my Windows 7 key?

If they do format the drive and I have to install my Windows 7, is this easily done on a laptop as it is on a desktop "IE" once Windows is on then do drivers and so on?

Many Thanks
Matt

Windows will be installed on your machine, but it's just as easy to do a clean install on a laptop as a desktop.
Instructions on how to do a clean install are given in the welcome booklet.
If you contact PCS they might take the OS off or they might install your own one if you send it in,
i'm not sure,no harm in asking though.

I agree with Vanthus, all you need to do is:
1. Format HDD
2. Install Windows 7
3. Install Drivers from disk provided by PCS
4. Install your programs

Exactly the same procedure for a laptop as it is for a desktop.
