New on this forum, Need a bit of help to get started

Hi everyone,

I am new here on the this forum and just wanted to introduce myself. I recently joined because I am interested in learning more about custom PCs getting help with specs and hopefully contributing once I get the hang of things.

Right now, I am a bit unsure where to start ,whether it is the best place to ask for build advice, how to track existing orders or just general tips on using the forum effectively. If anyone could point me in the right direction or share some beginner tips, I do really appreciate it.

Looking forward to learning from all of you and being part of the community.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Welcome! :)

The forum is actually rather simple to navigate: there are five main categories (General, Sales Advice, Technical Support, Guides, and Other Topics), each with multiple sub-sections where you can start your own discussion.
There are several sticky threads providing useful information about the various arguments.

I would start with this one.

Welcome.
This is a great forum, you'll learn a lot, if you pay attention.
My advice would be to read those two links from Martin and Ekans.
Also read several pages in the "Check This Spec" forum. And the other Sales Advice forums that interest you.
That'll give you a feel for the way this forum works. How things are done and why, what we're all about here.
I don't crop up very often, I'm fairly new here, and the knowledge many of these folks have blows me into the weeds.
But don't let more limited knowledge stop you, if there's something you just don't get, ask.

If you feel you have something to contribute, post it.
We want to get to know you too. Lurking, reading, learning, and nothing else, won't help us know you.
There are several forums you can post in immediately under the Other Forums banner. No specialist knowledge required.
There is the One Liners (jokes) Forum, there's music, games, space exploration, transport, a wide range of things you might find interesting, or not. Those you will have knowledge or questions on, you can post immediately, post.
The easiest way to find what is going on there is to click Whats New / New Posts, at the top of the forum page.
That'll bring up everything new, surprisingly, each time you log in.
