New PC, (pics incl.) but still have a few questions

Hello everyone, my PC arrived today, I also have some Q's.
Here are the pics:

Questions: Basically if anyone can tell me what these following things are, they came in the box and being a novice i dont know what they are and if i am to do anything with them, they PC is working fine as it is, except my wireless internet is a little slow (router is downstairs, Pc upstairs) and so maybe i have to do something with the antenna looking things - PIC 4

4) looks like some antennas:

5) dont know what this is or what its for, it says 'Stand off socket manual'

7) no idea, it says asus on the pack so assuming its something to do with motherboard?

You need to connect antennas to your network card at the back of your pc,the other bits are spare parts.IDE cable etc.

5) Stand offs are what keep the motherboard raised off the back of the case to prevent short circuits - Fairly Important ;)

So there you have it. A Vanthus has said, get those antennae in and your wireless intermet problem should be sorted.

Thanks guys, yep my internet is working fast now thanks!
So do i need to do anything with the sata cable? Same with the stand offs? I'll have to look at that tomorow I tried using them but couldn't see where those screws were supposed to go, but I'll try again tomorrow.

It would have been better if PCS did that for me, I dont know I guess I'll mange somehow tho!

Stuff like thats left out incase of damage during transit

You wont need to even think about those standoffs (unless you plan on replacing your motherboard - cant imagine why)
Theyre all spare parts (apart from the antennae)
So as long as your computer is working you wont need them!!

just a little update guys, CRYSIS works a dream in high settings!! was a little anxious after i bought the pc whether or not it will be able to handle it or not, but im so happy that it does, even on very high it is playable only jerks a little
