Also what make and model monitor are you using?

Cool, thanks.

Can you post a screenshot of your optional updates page?

What antivirus are you running?

Where would I find the Optional Updates Page? (Have only just started using steam properly)

I am not running any Antivirus although Norton might be running (came with it already downloaded)

It's not in Steam, it's in windows, just type it into search

If Norton is installed you need to uninstall that using the official uninstaller, can't be done through windows itself

So you need to apply those

And uninstall norton

Then if you could do the following?

open the Control Panel and clicked on Programs>Uninstall a program and then choose how you want to view them

Choose View>List.

Then take a screenshot and upload it
I've uninstalled Norton, and they are now downloading, will post the programs in a minute.

Yeah, your gpu is nowhere near powerful enough to run games at 4k, it’s a 1080p card

So you’d have to reduce resolution to 1080p to game effectively.

But the monitor isn’t a gaming monitor either, it’s a max of 60Hz which means the max it can physically show is 60fps.

So it’s never gonna be very good for your level of pc gaming.

A 1080p 144hz gaming monitor with variable refresh would be far better

Do you have any suggestions of monitors? I don't have a huge budget.

Just further, entry level monitor prices are crashing at the moment as new technologies are starting to be more heavily pushed at the high end so since Black Friday prices have lowered for a lot of entry level monitors.

A really good budget monitor with good performance are the AOCs

Or LGs

Would this be any good? I am trying to build a studio space that can be used for gaming, as I do some internet radio and don't want the monitors to look to flashy, I prefer a clean and modern look.
