Having purchased this comp specifically with gameplaying in mind i was dissapointed to find the graphics on RISEN2 are quite poor,with them being blocky, and when a lot is happening (lightning for instance ) i get horizontal lines across my screen.
i have played with settings to no avail.

While I don't have a desktop anymore, is it possible that the 660 isn't switched on because of Optimus? Try seeing if the game is utilizing your CPU not GPU.

It wont be because of optimus, that's only used in laptops afaik :)
If it is using the onboard graphics, it could be because the drivers need reinstalling (as vanthus suggested), or possibly the graphics card got knocked slightly out of place during transit

have reinstalled drivers aparently i have the latest ones.
just a thought as suggested by rakk maybe the card has worked loose during transit this did happen with the dvd\cd drive , i would have thought that if it wasnt connected properly the download finder would not work.
