Wow fast turn around on the build. Mine was 17th / 18th same as, but build date has shifted twice. Currently its the 2nd but I'd say it will be pushed out again. Hope I get the game codes though as both are ones I defo wanna play!

In exactly two weeks and one hour I'm going to be sat at my screen hitting F5 constantly on the hunt for a Founder's Edition 3070, not sure how much I fancy my chances after the 3080 debacle...

Haha, good luck. Can't believe it's already been 2 weeks since the 3080 launch. Think I'm resigned to the fact I might not be getting my build until the end of the month :(

Thanks, I'm already in the process of memorising my credit card number and speed-typing my details so I can get to checkout as soon as possible

mine is still on pre production. It's been 10 days now.
Crazy how ordering 2hours late can make such a difference on a launch day.

Build and test on the same day. The buiilders must be twidling there thumbs waiting to start on these machines.

I went into preproduction on the 17th. At least this shows that after pre production everything happens relatively quickly.

I've ordered 3 laptops in the past from PC Specialist - the most recent was a little under 2 weeks ago. Pre-production has been by far the lingest stage of all the orders. I imagine it's probably the same for desktops. Things can definitely move quickly once building starts!

I've got my 3080 coming separately, going to bob in my 1070 until it arrives. Random question, they will actually send the PSU cables in that would've been used by the card, right!?

The PSU comes with the power cables, not the GPU. If you bought a PC from PCS, they put the additional cables in the welcome box.

I'm the exact same. Ordered at 14:02. Though I changed my card to the ROG Strix so thats likely the delay

If you ask they will fit to PSU and route the cable for you.

then it’s a simple case of popping on to card.

cuts down the delay in getting the box of joy up and running.

Ordered my build today with the 3080.
Is it safe to say that its gonna be around a month for delivery? 😢
I think it would depend how many 3080s they currently have in stock, how many orders are waiting for 3080s to come in stock, and how big the next delivery of 3080s is going to be. I suspect delivery will probably be a few weeks, but if you have the mindset it could be a month, and it arrives sooner, then it's a win?!
