Old Game & Win 7

Hey All

I recently installed an old game from 2004 i think that I had on my old Win XP PC onto my new Win 7 PC system and it doesn't work.... Now Im no PC wiz kid genius, but i have at least tried an attempt at setting compatibility on the launcher or exe files or something to Win 2000 service pack 3 or XP SP3, but none still have worked. Maybe i have done it wrong.....

It loads up the first few videos but then crashes on the main game menu. Well, it just doesn't reach it actually, it just sends me back to my desktop.

Any way i can get this game to work....?

As well as compatibility mode,try a lower resolution with the game.

Tried all of them, didnt work.. lol

But then i turned off "movies" in this configuration bit on launcher as admin, then it started working, it looks best in the old resolution on my old PC aswell so everything is in proportion

Only thing is as i haven't got my gtx 670 yet, its using Intel HD graphics on my CPU so it doesn't let me use AA or some other thing aswell to make it better. If I turmn them on it crashes, but if i leave it i can play it without it.

Well at least it works, but with that being said after about 10mins of it now i don't seem that bothered as it looks very dated :turned: #It was SW-KOTOR btw lol

Some strategic googling might be in order to see if anyone else has had similar problems as you, I had a similar problem with two worlds when I tried to start it on my machine it simply crashed. I had to download some additional files for my graphics drivers which the game was looking for specifically. I would never have figured that out myself, once that was done it worked fine!
