Old HDDs

Hi all, just after a bit of help and advice.

I just got round to removing 2 400Gb HDDs from my old rig and was looking to utilise the storage space.

My preference would be to somehow have them mounted externally if possible but wouldn't have a clue where to start.

If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.

Cheers

If you don't need both drives available at the same time you can get external HDD 'hot swap' enclosures. Just buy one and swap your drives in and out as needed.

Any particular reason you don't want to mount them internally? Unless you have a really tiny case you are likely to have room for a couple more HDDs, and it would only cost a SATAII cable (which may have come with your computer anyway). A SATAII connection should be faster than USB as well.
