Ive been trying to access my old D LINK DSL2640R settings to use it as a range extender but when i type in 192.168.1.1 internet cant find the page is there any other way to do it ?

Are you trying to access it wirelessly or are you plugged into it via an ethernet cable?

Open Command Prompt and type ipconfig,then check "default gateway" for default connection address.

the default gateway is showing the same ip address as you told me to use so what do i need to do now Vanthus please
