evening all,

just thought I'd share my find, for any sound enthusiasts out there.

Creative soundblaster have released two new sound cards, I think a 3rd too. but not got a link.

This one pdt_20885.png

and this one pdt_20886.1.png

I have no idea if they are any good, or if they offer anything new, but thought i'd share.

I was a big fan of the X-Fi series, do we have any idea what benefits this card is going to bring? I need one! Unjustifiably of course.

I paid like £150 for my sound card, now i'll have to upgrade!

lol, i'll have to see the reviews once they're all out & see about spoiling myself on that new champion model. They look seriously sexy, but I can't listen to aesthetics!

+rep for the post though, was right up my alley.

I want some new speakers to be honest, I have the Logitech Z506 system right now.

Got the Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium - Fatal1ty Champion Series (mouthful) from PCSpecialist, in the PC itself.

looks good dude, I was using a decent LG dvd surround sound system, that was pretty ace, but too noisy for playing at night :(

I'm just using on board sound at the moment, and my tritton ax pro's.

Was having problems with my x-fi titanium, so took it out. kept getting a annoying fuzzy noise when I turned on dolby digital. :(

May invest in the 120quid recon 3d card next yea though.

Only issues i've had soundwise are with my G35s. They had a horrible feedback issue with Dead Island which is now thankfully/finally patched correctly so I can start my trio-play with friends.

Also I recently did trio co-op through Trine II with the same 2 people & I randomly got issues with them, but that at least was bearable.

I can't fault my card at all thus far, but i'm still eager to see what the new champion series boasts over this one.

Mine was horrible. I literally couldn't play it through my headset, it was everytime someone spoke it made them sound like they were talking through a cheap set of walkie-talkies from the pound shop. More static than i've heard in my life xD

G35s are great when they work, they have 7.1 surround - programmable keys with pre-installed profiles for some of the top end games, bass/treble boosters, amp equalizing, voice morphing (lol).

But when they decide they don't want to be compatible with a game, your ears know about it.
