Hiya, what are your planned uses?

What's your max budget?

We've had a lot of reports of the fans being rather noisy and ramping up even when it's idling doing nothing. But IIRC all those reports have been from people who've ordered it without windows and installed their own, and it's possible it's down to drivers not being configured correctly.

But it's more likely it is an issue with the chassis, likely a BIOS issue or the Control Center management app that needs updating. But I feel it needs to be highlighted.

Unfortunately, the way it works with laptops is they're all announced usually in January at CES and released either in February or March, they're not refreshed until the next January and in that time, a lot of stocks sell out.
