PC Failing while on starcraft

this weekend friday to sunday my computer ran starcraft 2 perfect, not a single sign of lag, even when there was 8 armys fighting it out. but now i cant even fight 20 zerglings against 5 void rays. I need someone from pc specialist or someone who knows there stuff about computers to contact me if possible

I think if you wanted to talk to them you need to call them.

What kinda lag are we talking about? Online lag or hardware? ie are you playing online?

also what kinda temps are you getting during game?

edit - check that all ya gpu drivers are up to date, also windows updates too,

I think my graphics card isnt working, everything else seems to be running fine and its working just like my old computer used to, but my old comp didnt have a graphics card.

How is it failing btw?
Just lag? Funny lines on the screen? Game crashes? PC crashing? PC rebooting?

And have you tried getting new drivers as tom_gr7 suggested?

ive updated graphics card, and im getting 1 fps, doing more updates now

sorry I meant what software ya use for virus scans, my fault worded it wrong.

Maybe worth running a boot time scan that avast offers.

Ok tom i'll try that after work today, my anti virus needs updating but asks me to pay for it, but its free? little weird but i might as well dip into my bank for it

Be careful with the anti-virus to make sure it hasn't become corrupted if it is asking you to undertake something like payment when it is free.

I always recommend F-Secure and they have a free online scanner via:
http://www.f-secure.com/en/web/home_gb/protection/free-online-tools/free-online-tools

You could always run that scan independently just to make sure there are no nasties.

no need to pay for antivirus software these days.
Personally I use MS Security essentials along with windows own firewall
plus malwarebytes,
all very good & all free.

Thanks for everyone trying to help, but yea stupid mate didnt relise how close i was to throwing it away xD, luckly i played around in control panel and found it.. so! any ideas how to seek revenge?

Remember that spray gas you were using to clean your PC? Hold it upside down and spray it in his ear when he's not expecting it, worst wet willy ever.

set up his pc so it constantly boots in to safe mode at all times , its easy to do.
