Pc monitor wanted!

Hi there, am looking for a flat screen pc monitor. It doesn't need to be anything special just witha VGA input or even better an hdmi input. I know this is a long shot but I am based in Cambridge city centre and can't really leave there! I am looking for anything, maybe someone's old monitor etc. Any help much appreciated but I do realise this is a long shot!

Nah, my budget is £15. It doesn't need to be a very good one, it won't be used for gaming. Just looking for a cheap second hand one to extend my laptop to.

Just thought I'd say, I have found a local guy giving away a 17" flat screen monitor. Not sure if it is 4:3 or 16:9, probably 4:3 but still is a start! Also found one on ebay if this one doesn't work out!

Just thought I would mention, I did manage to get a 17.1" flat screen monitor but the best bit was despite all the doubts, I got it completely free! I just need to try and figure out how to put separate background images on each monitor. Is there a way of doing that without downloading more software?

lol i know how to do it on ubuntu, surely it will be under theme settings
