PC Query

Hi,

Had my PC just over a week now and so far so good.
Just had a look in the COMPUTER section and with my Local Disk [C:] & DVD drive, I notice I now have a drive there listed as Local Disk [Q:], which I don't remember seeing there before.

Should this be there and if not any ideas how it might have got there?

It could be a partition, the memory card readers, an external HDD (none of these except a partition should read as local disc though) Very odd.

Hi,

Just did some reading on the net and apparently it is something to do with the limited version of MSO 2010 that I have, and which I installed this morning.
They use something called Click to run which uses virtual memory for beta versions of the software.

Oh, yes, a part of your HDD has been converted into virtual memory, silly, because Windows has page files too. Hmm, odd software lol.
