Hey specialists in October i posted a thread relating to a custom photo edit PC. i had a great result with replies and have decided upon to invest in one in about a week or so.
The only questions i have are:
1. would i or my machine benefit from a black or green SSD? I would like to save on energy bills and noise but what would the experts recommend? my current pc 'makes a racket' when trying to watch a movie in peace.
2. Firewire port, i dont even know if i need or use it as i have no idea what it is.
I need a desktop that will be able to handle webdesign, photoshop, illustrator and dreamweaver and possibly the odd video edit (once i am competent in the above). I watch lots of movies and i am not a gamer but like the system to be future proof.
I use my 32" LG TV (1366x768) as a monitor. I also have a maxtor 500gb external hard drive.
