Please check my new desktop pc spec!

I am thinking of buying a new desktop for gaming, and was wondering if this pc spec was enough/too low/too high to play top end games which are currently out (coming out).

Before anyone asks, I never overclock.

Any help would be really appreciated :)

you should upgrade to a better graphics card. not sure what your whole pc budget is but i recommend a good all rounder gpu like the GTX560Ti or the AMD 6890. i suggest going for a bigger quality psu like a the corsair 650w which will be energy efficient even over periods of years.

you should go for the caviar black drive which is better and less power hungry than the standard slow ata drives.

if all of that is comfortable in your budget range if you have one.

I've changed the Graphics Card and PSU, does this look better? And for the graphics card, will I need a 2GB GTX560Ti or will the 1GB do the job?

My budget is max £1000 inc VAT; I'm happy with a pc near £900. The desktop spec below is £882 inc VAT.

Unless you're planning on playing at high resolutions across multiple monitors the 1GB version should be fine

This is the top end of your budget but it is better and will have more performance for longer, if you want to bring the price down i would suggest going for an AMD CPU as you want the best GPU you can afford for gaming.
