Please help me

I posted a question on here a week or two ago asking how to setup triple monitors with 2 3gb nvidia gtx 580s and i got no response so i was hoping that somone would be able to awnser my question.

Connect all three monitors with DVI D cables,(probably supplied with monitors)
connect two monitors to one card & the third monitor to the other card.
Set up the monitors using the Nvidia control panel.

Thank you so much but i was just wondering does that mean that i have to have the case open or am i just sounding retarded

No,you dont need to open the case,
just connect the monitors to the dvi ports of the video cards at the back of the pc.
