Hi deadone,

There are no perspex windows in the HAF922, only the HAF932 - see pics below;

thankyou for the heads up regarding the case.
the window is not very big looking at the image..

My 2c if you don't mind the new guy chipping in with a thought;
Why put so much of the budget into the graphics card & (comparatively) so little into the processor?
As is the general trend with PC components, the performance/price tends to kick in far below the top components (i.e. you pay disproportionately more for top-end parts).

You might want to consider getting an i7 processor in that & dropping the graphics option down, I'm not 100% sure about how the pricing would work out but you could probably push the processor up to the bottom i7 quad-core & get 2x GT460s for a similar amount.

Otherwise very, very nice though ;)

to be fair the 2 GPU's he has will be awsome for anything but then again so will the recommendation you gave, its all much of a muchness to be fair they will run anything for a long time to come (on top specs)

Yeah, was just thinking the i7 will have a bit more longevity & performance, it depends a lot on the game but for some (particularly RTS games) processing power is King.

Anyone remember C&C Generals Extreme AI? It just used as much processing power as was available to manage it's forces, lower difficulties were capped.

thanx all for the help and tips, and i agree with the proessor power..
im going to be changing it after looking and lowering the gfx card and upgrading to one of the i7's.

i was thinking about this also and thought a better processor would make better sence and i could always in the future upgrade gfx card if needed as they are contsantly being updated.

ill post specs here of what i am thinking within my budget and see what you all think.

We can source the Haf-X case for you if you would like to order this case. It will be around £150.

very nice build dude, but why have 2 monitors?

2 monitors is a great setup, as you can browse the internet with one screen while having outlook or another program open in another. Pretty much every PC in our offices has a dual monitor setup :p

If I had the space, (and I'm sure I will one day) I would go for dual monitor set up. I've got so used to it at work I go home and have to switch between windows, gets quite annoying tbh.
