Ive not much faith in our uk couriers atm, especially with something worth 2k+,
I dont live far from Wakefield, so is there a ' pickup from our wakefield branch' option ..?

Once you make the order, it then has to go into a queue to get built (pre-production, the longest stage), then through the build stage (usually only a couple of hours), then through testing and despatch (usually a day), so they wouldn't know until it was ready for despatch, so no point calling before then.

You can ammend your order at any time before it's in the testing phase.

Just log into your main PCS account, go to the order and you should get the option to amend or add parts.

The samsung drives would rarely be recommended though as they have a smaller endurance and a vastly higher cost.

I would recommend getting some advice on your order, people don't understand you can't just put anything together without getting bottlenecks, designing a system is a bit of an art.

Its the ' PCS FUSE EXTREME' im after buying, and adding another harddrive to..
What do you suggest for the 2tb 'D' drive ..?

Big downloads,
I create big media / trailers for games .. etc .. stuff that i delete a few days after after...
i install some games and apps on there too ..
I know SSDs can be fragile so i dont like using the same drive constantly ..

In that case, best advice would be to get a second NVME as a dedicated games drive, 2Tb optimally, then another separate drive for storing your media files.

Storage should never really be on an SSD as they catastrophically fail without warning. With a 7200rpm HDD, it fails sector by sector so you normally have at least a few months of symptoms before it outright fails so you can swap the drive out and not lose your data. Also, big media files don't really benefit from SSD speeds as other data does.

Are you in the order on the pcs site? Scroll down and you've got "Upgrade this order" and in there you can select any additional parts you want.

apparentlly, i cant upgrade the ' PCS FUSE EXTREME' .. im ringing them now, see what i can do..

You can't change any existing parts as it's a pre built, you can only order additional.
