Questions Regarding My Desktop Build Quote No 2623784

I just configured an AMD desktop system on your web site today (reference no 2623784) but I have a few questions as follows that I need resolved before I am happy to proceed with the order:-

I am sorry but I dont immediately know how to post my configuration details here but hope that the quote no will suffice.

1. I have three items in my existing home desktop system that I am looking to install myself after the system has been delivered. These items are a 2.5 inch Crucial 2TB SSD model no CT2000MX500SSD1 (currently mounted in a 3.5 drive caddy), a NVIDIA Geoforce GT730 graphics card and a Microsoft Wireless Keyboard & Mouse.

2. The SSD will require power and data cables, it would be convenient if cables were pre-installed as part of the system to support installation in a suitable 3.5in drive bay. I assume that there would be a charge for this service, please advise.

3. I don’t have the budget to spend the kind of money that it would take to include any of the high spec graphics cards that are offered as part of your configurator. I already own the NVIDIA GEOFORCE GT730 graphics card as part of my existing system and it has proven perfectly capable of running most if the PC games that I want to play. It requires a PC power supply of 300 Watt or greater PC with a minimum of 20 Amp on the +12 volt rail. It is designed to operate in a PCI Express, PCI Express 2.0 or PCI Express 3.0 compliant motherboard with one graphics slot. Power draw is a modest 40 watts according to specs I have found online. Please can you confirm that I can use this card within my intended configuration.

4. I have included an AOC 23 inch monitor within the system and I would like the system delivered and tested with that configured to use integrated graphics and DVI-D monitor connections. This will facilitate my switch to my GT730 graphics card which I currently use with DVI-D monitor connections.

5. How do I communicate the above requirements to the PCSPECIALIST build team that will build my system ?.

Many Thanks

Bob

Honestly you'd have to ring them but some of these things would be determined by the hardware you're buying. You can post your spec to the forum fairly simply below is a guide on how to do it. I'd strongly recommend getting advice, there is pretty much no reason a GT730 would be worth having a modern system pretty much any integrated GPU would offer much better performance, if you let us know your budget and what you plan to use the machine for we can help you get as much as possible for your money

You need to send your post and any other information directly to PCS. If you are in the forum, then click on 'Home' to enter the PCS page.
At top right select 'My Account' and then in the 'Tech Support' tab select 'New Message'.
Enter your message and send directly to PCS. You should get a fairly quick reply. In my experience it led to some pleasant repartee.
